The Bosch brand looks back on a long history. Founded in 1886 by Robert Bosch, it is by no means only known for manufacturing household appliances. Whether as a supplier in the automotive industry or in future technology, Bosch is broadly positioned. BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, a subsidiary of Bosch, is the manufacturer of Bosch household appliances. It was founded as a joint venture between Bosch and Siemens, but is now 100% owned by the Bosch Group. Therefore, many Siemens models are identical in construction to those of Bosch. Dishwashers with zeolite drying achieve very good drying results even with plastic dishes.

Home Connect

Smart Home is on everyone’s lips and many manufacturers of household appliances are embracing this trend. Bosch also offers smart options with the Home Connect function on some dishwashers. This allows you to easily link the machine to your smartphone or tablet and start, manage and control it from anywhere. The in-house app helps you select the right program for your dishes and keeps you informed about the machine’s status.

About Bosch

In 1886, Robert Bosch founded the “Workshop for Precision Mechanics and Electrical Engineering” in Stuttgart. Just one year later, he presented the first low-voltage magneto ignition device for gas engines to the public. BSH Hausgeräte GmbH, which today manufactures Bosch dishwashers, was not founded until 1967 as a joint venture between Bosch and Siemens. In addition to these two brands, the Neff brand was then acquired in 1982. Bosch has held all shares in BSH Hausgeräte GmbH since 2015. Siemens has withdrawn.
